
Read the grade forgiveness policy in the Registrar’s Office website.
• Undergraduate students who wish to file late grade forgiveness petitions should go to Academic Services in Millican Hall 210.
• Contact Academic Services to discuss with an adviser how to file a late grade forgiveness petition and as to whether or not it is an appropriate request. The form will be given by the adviser.
• Complete the petition form and write a separate statement explaining why the grade forgiveness request was not submitted by the deadline through the Registrar’s Office.
• Complete the actual Grade Forgiveness Form -- available in the Registrar's Office.
• Obtain a copy of your registration schedule from the Registrar's Office or print a copy from myUCF website -- NOT a fee invoice. Attach copy to your petition.
• Obtain a copy of your schedule for the first semester you took the course and the second semester you registered for the course from the Registrar's Office or online through the Registrar’s Forms website.
• Return all of the paperwork to Academic Services in MH 210. A decision on the petition will be made within a week.
• Your request will take approximately a week to review. You will be notified by mail as soon as the decision is made.
